Whether it’s your knee from a running injury, your wrists from typing all day on a computer, or a degenerative process from aging, an injection with Prolozone can immediately calm pain-generating nerves and regenerate tissues and structures around the joints without the use of pain-killers, steroids or surgery.  Patients often report immediate and lasting joint pain relief and relief of joint inflammation.

Benefits of Prolozone

This safe, natural, and often permanent treatment for joint pain and arthritis which combines natural Prolotherapy with the injection Ozone gas from oxygen, pioneered by Frank Shallenberger, MD has been shown to possibly benefit:

    • back and neck pain with or without degenerative disc disease
    • virtually all sports injuries
    • shoulder pain from rotator cuff injuries
    • degenerative/osteoarthritis of the hips, knees and spine
    • plantar fasciitis
    • tennis elbow/golfers elbow
    • carpal tunnel
    • and more!

What is Prolozone?

Prolozone treatments involve a series of injections which contain anti-inflammatory nutrients followed by ozone which is a mixture of two forms of oxygen-O2 and O3.  This combination has been shown to stimulate the cells in the joint to start repairing itself.  Since ozone is a gas, it disperses easily through the joint and neighboring tissues to stimulate a widespread healing response and often permanent joint pain relief.

The nutrients and ozone have been shown to:

  • reduce oxidative stress/ free radicals
  • reduce inflammation and swelling
  • increase local circulation
  • increase stem cells and other growth factors
  • speed up regeneration and repair
  • calm inflamed nerve pain
  • improve mitochondrial ATP production
  • decrease local acid buildup (acidosis)

Prolozone, unlike steroid injections that temporarily decrease inflammation, has been proven in studies to promote regeneration of new tissue making it not only a long term pain management tool, but also an alternative to surgery.
