Is your child experiencing persistent behavioral problems that interfere with quality of life?

Significant problems of behavior including defiant behavior, aggressive behavior, violent behavior, self-injurious behavior, obsessive or compulsive behavior, excess stubborness, intolerance of transitions, and indifferent behavior may not represent just a deficiency of a psychiatric medication like a stimulant or anti-depressant.  These types of behaviors often originate from more fundamental problems including subtle brain inflammation and brain chemical (neurotransmitter) imbalances or deficiencies.  These problems may relate to diet related intestinal inflammation, effects of environmental toxins, infections as influenced by genetic predisposition.  My integrative approach to these problems considers the entire biologic system as a whole to try to restore balance and reduce undesirable inflammation and toxic effects.
